He holds a PhD degree and Master's of Science degree from Carleton University in Systems and Computer Engineering and Master's of Engineering degree from University of Detroit Mercy in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He has more than 15 years of teaching and academic experience in the Canada, USA and the Middle East. He assumed teaching and research positions at several universities including UAE University, AlHosn University, University of Detroit Mercy and Carleton University.
